Allentown man crashes into parked cars while fleeing police in Bethlehem

An Allentown man, Devon Legrand, 37, fled from police in Bethlehem on Monday night, hitting several parked cars during the chase. Police attempted to pull him over for vehicle code violations, but he did not stop. Legrand drove for about five blocks on West Market Street before crashing and abandoning his vehicle. He and a passenger fled on foot; the passenger remains at large. Legrand was taken to a hospital for injuries and faces multiple charges, including felonies for fleeing police. He is currently held in Lehigh County Jail on $15,000 bail.
