Aldi drops to joint third in UK supermarket rankings as Marks & Spencer takes top spot
Aldi has dropped to joint third place in the latest UK supermarket rankings by Which?, after being named the cheapest supermarket just weeks ago. It shares this position with Iceland and Waitrose, each scoring 72 percent. Marks & Spencer topped the list with a customer score of 79 percent, praised for product quality and customer service, despite a lower score for value. Tesco came in second with 74 percent, but lagged behind M&S in key areas. Aldi excelled only in value for money, receiving four stars, while it struggled in customer service and store appearance. The survey included over 2,600 shoppers evaluating various supermarkets.
