The Alaska Permanent Fund was created in 1976 to share profits from oil revenues with its residents. The fund is managed by the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation. This year, the PFD has increased by 30% compared to last year. The payment includes a one-time energy assistance check of $298.17 and a PFD of $1,403.83. This program not only supports Alaskan families but also helps boost the state’s economy through increased spending. To be eligible for the PFD, residents must meet certain requirements. There are only a few days left to apply for this benefit. Interested individuals can apply online at the PFD website or submit their application by mail. Some exceptions apply.
