Air Jordan 1 Low “Dongdan” honors Beijing streetball culture
Jordan Brand is set to release a new sneaker called the Air Jordan 1 Low “Dongdan.” This shoe honors the famous Dongdan streetball court in Beijing. The sneaker features a combination of smooth white leather, soft beige suede, and tan leather. These materials create a stylish look with various textures. The design includes a muted tan Swoosh and heel panels, reflecting the spirit of competition found at Dongdan. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Dongdan” includes unique details that tell a story. Inside the shoe, tags are embroidered with “IN ONE'S ELEMENT” and “Beijing, China” in gold. The front of the tongue showcases the tournament's logo. Additionally, the heels of the shoes have different designs. The left shoe has the famous Air Jordan Wings logo, while the right shoe features a custom emblem for Dongdan. This design choice highlights the sneaker’s connection to the historic basketball court. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Dongdan” is expected to launch in summer 2025.
