Afghan detainees reveal serious allegations in PTI protest video
Afghan nationals arrested during a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest on November 24 have made serious allegations in a police video. They claim PTI members procured militants and distributed weapons during the protest, which turned violent. One detainee from Kandahar reported seeing PTI members firing at police. Another claimed he was involved in overseeing a vehicle that contained 25 to 30 rifles, disguised as carrying food supplies. Following the protest, PTI leaders, including Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur, have been charged in seven new cases related to the violence. The charges include terrorism and attempt to murder.
