Aer Lingus to discontinue Cork to Amsterdam flights in March 2025

Aer Lingus will end its direct flights from Cork to Amsterdam in March 2025 after 26 years. The airline has faced increased competition from KLM, which began its own direct flights to Cork in 2020. Currently, Aer Lingus operates one or two flights daily on this route. Following the closure, the airline will focus on new routes to Bordeaux and Bilbao starting in Summer 2025. Cork Airport confirmed the decision and noted that KLM will continue to provide direct flights to Amsterdam, maintaining connectivity to over 150 destinations.
