Acer launches Nitro Blaze 11 handheld gaming PC with detachable controllers at CES 2025

Acer has introduced the Nitro Blaze 11, a new handheld gaming PC that competes with the Steam Deck. Priced at $1,099, it features a large 11-inch screen and detachable controllers, similar to the Nintendo Switch. Alongside the Nitro Blaze 11, Acer also launched the smaller Nitro Blaze 8, starting at $899. While both models share internal components, the Blaze 8 has a faster refresh rate of 144Hz but lacks detachable controllers and a front-facing camera. The Nitro Blaze 11 is set to ship in North America in the second quarter of 2025. It offers a unique design with a built-in kickstand, making it a notable option in the handheld gaming market.
