Accused murderer in Michigan delays hearing, seeks new lawyer
A man accused of murdering his father in 2024 delayed his preliminary examination after firing his attorney. The accused, Timothy John Kildee, will now either seek a public defender or represent himself. Kildee, 28, terminated his counsel during the court appearance on April 22. He faces 16 charges, including felony murder, stemming from the alleged shooting of his father and subsequent events. The case involves the death of Timothy Edward Kildee, the theft of his truck, and a car crash. Kildee, the nephew of a former U.S. Representative, previously caused a courtroom outburst.
