Accused in car crash undergoes surgery in Vadodara

Rakshit Chaurasiya, the man accused of a deadly car crash in Vadodara on March 13, underwent a minor surgical procedure at SSG Hospital on Wednesday. The crash resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to seven others. Chaurasiya, a fourth-year law student, sustained an injury during an assault after the crash. Doctors performed plastic surgery on his jaw, which took about 30 minutes. Hospital officials report he is in good health and will be discharged soon. He was previously taken to the hospital for a medical check-up on Monday. After doctors evaluated his condition, they advised him to return for the follow-up, leading to this surgery. Chaurasiya is currently held at Vadodara Central Jail.
