Aamir Khan's teaser for Sitaare Zameen Par certified U
Aamir Khan's upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par, has recently received a U certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. This marks a significant moment for Khan, as it will be his return to the big screen after three years since his last movie, Laal Singh Chaddha. The teaser for Sitaare Zameen Par was certified on March 24, 2025. It lasts for 1 minute and 19 seconds. Some reports suggest that the teaser may not be shown with Salman Khan's film Sikandar, despite being released around the same time. Initially, there were guesses that Sitaare Zameen Par would come out in March, but now it seems the film is set for a theatrical release on May 30, 2025. Aamir Khan has hinted that this new film is more advanced than his 2007 classic, Taare Zameen Par. He mentioned that the story revolves around ten people facing challenges who aid him, the "normal" character. Khan expressed hope that the film will resonate well with audiences. To celebrate Aamir Khan's 60th birthday, several of his past films are being re-released in theaters. The festival began on March 14 and will end on March 27. Some films featured include Rang De Basanti, Lagaan, and Taare Zameen Par itself. Khan last appeared in Laal Singh Chaddha, which did not perform well at the box office.
