24-year-old Miguel Ramirez Quiroz identified as homicide victim

The El Paso County Coroner's Office has named the victim of a recent homicide as 24-year-old Miguel Ramirez Quiroz. He was found dead in a vehicle early Monday morning in Security-Widefield. Authorities pronounced him dead shortly after their arrival. Detectives discovered a possible crime scene nearby and arrested 29-year-old Miguel Angel Garcia Hernandez. He faces charges that include murder and kidnapping. Hernandez is currently held without bond at the El Paso County jail. Authorities have confirmed that Hernandez is in the U.S. illegally, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
