14-year-old Siddharth Nandyala developed app for heart disease detection
Siddharth Nandyala is a 14-year-old boy who has created an impressive app called 'CircadiaV.' This app can detect heart diseases in just seven seconds. His innovation has caught the attention of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who invited Siddharth to his office to discuss the app. Siddharth, who is originally from Anantapur, has lived in the United States since 2010 with his father, Mahesh. During their visit to the chief minister’s office, Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav also joined them. Siddharth is a notable figure in tech. He is the founder and CEO of STEM IT, an initiative focused on promoting STEM education worldwide, particularly in coding, robotics, and AI. Chief Minister Naidu praised Siddharth's app, calling it a "medical breakthrough" for early detection of heart issues. The app uses smartphone recordings of heart sounds and has shown an accuracy of over 96%. It has been tested on more than 15,000 patients in the U.S. and around 700 in India, including patients at GGH Guntur. Siddharth is recognized as the youngest AI-certified professional, holding certifications from Oracle and ARM. Naidu expressed his admiration for Siddharth's talent and dedication, encouraging him to continue pursuing his passion in healthcare technology.
