12-year-old girl critically ill from two years of vaping

A 12-year-old girl in Thailand is in critical condition due to severe lung damage from vaping for nearly two years. Her family was unaware of her habit until her school alerted them after she showed signs of health decline. Doctors at Satuek Hospital reported that her lung capacity is nearly gone, and she now requires a ventilator. Three other students from her school were also hospitalized with similar symptoms linked to vaping and kratom consumption. In response, Thai authorities have arrested two individuals selling these substances near the school and are investigating the issue. The government has issued warnings about the rise of vaping devices marketed to minors, including those disguised as toys.
