10-year-old boy electrocuted by fallen power line in Brazil
A 10-year-old boy named Adrian David Feitoza Coelho died after accidentally stepping on a fallen power line during a storm in Brazil. Adrian was in a car with his mother when a power line fell nearby. They stopped after other people waved at them to get out. As Adrian got out of the car to find shelter from the storm, he stepped on the fallen wire and was shocked. His mother saw sparks and was warned to keep back for safety. Firefighters arrived and found Adrian in serious condition. They performed CPR and took him to the hospital, but he sadly did not survive. Adrian's father described him as a fun and outgoing boy who loved football. He had dreams of becoming a footballer and his family had plans to enroll him in a football academy. His parents are now mourning the loss of their son, who leaves behind three younger siblings. In another incident, a mother from Sicily named Mimma Faia also suffered a tragic accident. She was electrocuted while mopping a kitchen floor at work. After being revived and spending two months in a coma, she passed away in December. Her family and friends remembered her as a strong woman who deserved a better fate.
