Zimbabwe police seek public help to identify seven murder victims in Harare and Chitungwiza mortuaries

Zimbabwe police have appealed for public help identifying seven murder victims, including a boy aged 12 to 13, whose bodies are held at three mortuaries in Harare and Chitungwiza. The victims were found dead in separate incidents between June 2025 and May 2026. The youngest, a juvenile, was discovered in a pumpkin field near the Mukuvisi River on 11 October 2025, with his body at Sally Mugabe Hospital Mortuary. Other victims include a female adult found at Pioneer Cemetery and several males found across Harare, Ruwa, Epworth, and Bindura. Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi urged people with missing relatives to check descriptions and visit hospitals or contact authorities.
