Zelenskyy: Two companies, one private and one state, develop Ukraine's antiballistics

President Zelenskyy announced that two companies, one private and one state-owned, are developing ballistic and antiballistic systems in Ukraine, potentially reducing reliance on Western interceptors. Speaking in Serbia with President Aleksandar Vucic, Zelenskyy named private firm FirePoint, which publicly reports its work, but withheld the state company's name. He urged support and protection for these enterprises from Russian strikes. Ukraine depends on Western Patriot systems for intercepting ballistic missiles. Zelenskyy also cited a separate Raytheon and Lockheed Martin project, saying success would "close our sky." An Antiballistic Coalition with Europe launched in July.
