Zack Scoular wins opening race of Toyota Formula Regional Oceania season in Taupo

Zack Scoular won the first race of the Toyota Formula Regional Oceania season at Taupo Motorsport Park, finishing two seconds ahead of Australia's Will Brown. Scoular started from pole position and led the entire 17 laps. Red Bull junior Arvid Lindblad took third place, finishing three seconds behind Brown. Scoular, who received a scholarship from the Tony Quinn Foundation, celebrated his first win in single-seaters. Brown expressed satisfaction with his car but noted he couldn't challenge Scoular for the lead. The race was incident-free, showcasing Scoular's strong performance.
