The deal, for an undisclosed amount, affects 113,000 customers, who will not need to take any action. Firmus will maintain ownership of the Ten Towns gas network. Yuno Energy, which began operations in the Republic of Ireland in 2023, was founded by Cathal Fay, known for starting PrepayPower. Firmus energy distribution's CEO stated the supply business is ready to operate independently under Yuno. Firmus will focus on expanding its gas network and integrating renewable gases.
