Youth join police and emergency crews for road safety in Castelfranco

ilrestodelcarlino.it (Italian) —

During Italian Motor Week in Castelfranco, 22 youths over 16 will join police, firefighters, and emergency services for hands-on road safety and emergency management activities starting tomorrow. The project, called "On the Road," was presented yesterday at city hall. It stems from a July protocol signed by Prefect Fabrizia Triolo and association founder Alessandro Invernici, with 12 spots for Castelfranco and 10 for Modena. The initiative aims to shorten distances between young people and institutions, promoting rule awareness and peer education. Mayor Giovanni Gargano called Castelfranco a growing "road safety laboratory" starting with youth.
