Youth Home Purchase Loan 3.0 expands benefits for families and adds income limits
The Youth Home Purchase Loan 3.0, starting August, will offer increased loan amounts for married and child-rearing families. It also introduces wealth-based restrictions, including tiered housing price limits and a NT$2 million annual income cap for applicants. The new policy aims to assist those genuinely in need of housing assistance. Loan limits will be raised for newly married couples and families with children, while single applicants' limits remain unchanged. The tiered housing price limits vary by location, with Taipei having the highest cap. The income cap is set per individual, not per household, to ensure policy effectiveness. Existing loan recipients will benefit from extended interest subsidies.
