Young EMT helps rescue students after bus overturns

A young volunteer EMT, Matt Goldman, is being recognized for his quick response after a school bus overturned on the Garden State Parkway in Montvale, New Jersey. The incident occurred on Monday night, involving 29 students. Goldman, 22, was driving behind the bus when it crashed. He helped rescue the students and alerted first responders about a 14-year-old boy trapped under the bus. The boy is currently in critical condition. Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali honored Goldman as a hometown hero for his actions. Goldman, who joined the volunteer corps at 16, emphasized the importance of community support during the emergency.
