Young driver's failure to yield causes fatal collision in Rottweil district

A 31-year-old woman died after a head-on collision on Bundesstraße 462 near Schramberg. The accident occurred when a 22-year-old driver allegedly failed to yield while merging onto the road, colliding with the 31-year-old's car. The impact sent the older woman's vehicle into oncoming traffic, where it struck a van. The 31-year-old was trapped and died at the scene. The 22-year-old sustained serious injuries, and the van driver was unharmed. An expert has been called to investigate the cause.
