Yogi Adityanath officiates mass wedding for 401 couples in Varanasi

This initiative has helped over 400,000 girls marry since its launch in 2017. During the ceremony, Adityanath emphasized women's empowerment and the government's role in ensuring their safety. He highlighted various initiatives, including housing and sanitation programs, that aim to improve women's dignity and status in society. Additionally, the chief minister honored beneficiaries of housing schemes by presenting them with keys to their new homes. He also unveiled a statue of social worker Vibhuti Narayan Singh at the event.
