Yaoko opened its 198th store, "Yaoko Maruhiro Ageo SC Store," in Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture, on September 12, 2025. This marks the company's return to Ageo City after a 16-year absence. The new store, located directly in front of Ageo Station's east exit within the Maruhiro Department Store, aims to attract families and capture lunch demand from commuters. It offers a wide selection of prepared foods and quality groceries. The store's concept is to deliver a "rich and smiling" food life, with a sales floor of 720 tsubo and a sales target of 2.9 billion yen. It caters to middle-aged seniors, young families, and single individuals.
