Xbox Labs Revives Classic 360 Blades Dashboard in a PC Browser

Xbox CTO Scott Van Vliet demonstrated the classic Xbox 360 Blades dashboard running in a PC web browser, marking the first public experiment from the new Xbox Labs team. The clip also shows the NXE and Metro dashboards, all fully navigable. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma shared the video, asking fans if they like the experiment, though no official return to consoles is confirmed. The browser's address bar displayed a Title ID hinting at actual 360 system software via emulation, and Sharma previously floated the Blades revival idea. Xbox Labs was created to explore new ways of building and playing games, partly due to AI-assisted ports. Microsoft already brought original Xbox games to PC, making a broader 360 push on PC seem increasingly plausible.
