Xbox adds platinum-style achievement for completionists later this year

Xbox will introduce a platinum-trophy-style achievement for completionists later this year, CEO Asha Sharma confirmed, marking a major update to its achievement system. Xbox achievements debuted with the Xbox 360 in 2005, rewarding players with gamerscore. PlayStation’s platinum trophy rewards obtaining every trophy in a game. Sharma did not specify details, such as whether the new honor adds points. The Xbox community has long requested this feature.
