Woman revamps parents' vintage shop into art and social café in Southport

Rachael Laisney is transforming her parents' former vintage shop in Southport into an art and social café. Set to open next month, the café will offer ceramic workshops, pottery painting classes, and evening bar service. Rachael, 34, has a background in pottery and bar management. She aims to create a community space where people can enjoy art and socialize. The shop, previously known as Vintage Home Southport, closed earlier this month. The renovation is underway, and Rachael is enthusiastic about the project. She has worked in the shop since she was 17 and believes its unique character will attract familiar faces.
