Woman dies in Folsom house fire as investigation continues

A woman has died after being found in a Folsom house fire early Friday morning. She was taken to the hospital but did not survive. Fire crews responded to the blaze on Briarcliff Drive around 2:07 a.m. and extinguished the flames in under ten minutes. One firefighter sustained a knee injury and was also hospitalized. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
