Wire Techno to raise secondary wire rod prices by 10,000 yen per ton from October

Wire Techno, a major wire rod product manufacturer, will raise prices on all secondary wire rod products for shipments starting in October. The increase will be at least 10,000 yen per ton across all item categories. The price hike applies to galvanized iron wire, ordinary iron wire, and other product types. The company, headquartered in Osaka's Tsurumi Ward and led by President Toshiya Ono, cited the need for the increase in its announcement. This move reflects ongoing cost pressures in the manufacturing sector. The company's decision to implement a uniform minimum increase of 10,000 yen per ton indicates broad-based input cost challenges affecting its product range.
