Winnipeg police arrest armed man for three robberies

A 29-year-old man was arrested by Winnipeg police on Friday and charged with three counts of robbery after a series of incidents within an hour. The suspect was armed with a weapon. The robberies began at a hotel lounge, followed by a fast-food restaurant, and then a taxi. The suspect stole a bottle of vodka, demanded money, and attempted to steal a debit machine and the taxi itself. Police apprehended the man without incident and recovered an imitation firearm and a machete. The suspect is in custody and faces multiple charges related to the robberies and weapon possession.
