Windows 11 updates cause Blue Screen of Death

Microsoft has confirmed a bug in recent Windows 11 updates causing the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error, impacting users after installation. The BSOD error, identified by the code 0x18B, affects Windows 11 versions KB5053598, KB5053656, and KB5055523, released in March and April. Microsoft is addressing the issue with a server-side update to mitigate the problem. Users experiencing the BSOD should check for updates repeatedly in Settings, as the fix is delivered server-side. The April update also has other issues, including problems with Windows Hello.
