Windows 11 lets users monitor camera, mic access

Windows 11 users can now easily monitor which applications are accessing their camera and microphone, enhancing privacy control. Users can identify apps using these devices through notifications and system tray icons. The operating system provides tools within the Settings app to view recent camera and microphone activity, including timestamps. Users can also disable access for specific or all apps through the same settings. Beyond app-level control, users can also manage camera and microphone access within web browsers and completely disable the devices through Device Manager for enhanced security.
