Will Brown faced a challenging debut in the Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship at Taupō Motorsport Park. After a collision with Michael Shin during Race 3, Brown initially finished fifth but received a 10-second penalty, dropping him to eighth. Arvid Lindblad won the race, maintaining a strong lead over Matias Zagazeta. Zack Scoular secured third place after fending off pressure from Brown, who struggled with tire management during the race. The championship will continue at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park from January 17-19.
