Wiaan Mulder ruled out of Sri Lanka Test series with finger injury, Breetzke to replace him

South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder will miss the rest of the Test series against Sri Lanka due to a broken right middle finger. He sustained the injury while batting in the first Test at Kingsmead. Matthew Breetzke has been named as Mulder's replacement for the second Test, set for December 5-9 in Gqeberha. Breetzke recently made his Test debut against Bangladesh. Mulder is expected to be out for about a month after the injury. He managed to bat again in the first Test but did not bowl as Sri Lanka was dismissed for a record low score.
