Wi-Fi HaLow routers demonstrate 10-mile range and 250Mbps speeds at CES 2025

Wi-Fi HaLow routers, developed by Morse Micro, were showcased at CES 2025, demonstrating a range of 10 miles and speeds up to 250Mbps. This technology uses sub-GHz waves, allowing better connectivity through obstacles compared to traditional routers. Previously, HaLow's speeds were limited to 150KBps to 18Mbps. The latest advancements significantly enhance its capabilities, making it suitable for industrial applications and smart home devices. Morse Micro plans to integrate HaLow technology into future devices, aiming for tri-band systems that combine 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and sub-GHz frequencies. This could improve communication for IoT devices in large spaces like warehouses.
