Heidinger's Gasthaus in Vienna's 15th district will reopen in February under new ownership, maintaining its name and offering Viennese cuisine with an alpine touch. The establishment was taken over by Ingo­bert and Barbara Könczöl, who aim to continue the tradition of Viennese hospitality. This follows other successful revivals of traditional Viennese inns. Other recommended establishments include Zum Bretschneider, Gasthaus Steindl, Herknerin, Reznicek, Stuwer, Stern, Meixners Gastwirtschaft, Gasthaus Grünauer, and Gelbmanns Gaststube, with Brandstetter facing insolvency but expected to continue operations.
