Wexford horse breeder and influential figure Dr Jack Murphy dies

Wexford horse breeder Dr. Jack Murphy has died following a medical emergency while driving. Murphy was a distinguished equine business lecturer, a former chairman and director of the Irish Horse Board, and an accomplished sport horse breeder. He significantly contributed to Irish breeding policy and governance. He also served as a director of Horse Sport Ireland and lectured at Maynooth University, mentoring future equine business professionals.
