Western Taiwan faces continued localized heavy rain until Tuesday. The Central Weather Administration forecasts showers and thunderstorms, with a chance of short-duration heavy rainfall, especially in western areas. Eastern regions will also see scattered showers. Temperatures will be cooler in the north and milder in the south. Visibility may be reduced by fog in western areas.
