Western Railway to Revise Mumbai Local Timetable From September 1

Western Railway will implement a revised suburban train timetable on September 1, 2026, adding six new services and withdrawing six others while keeping the total number of services at 1,414. The new services include two Up and four Down trains, with additions like a Bhayandar-Virar service and a late-night Virar-Borivali run. Six existing services, including two AC Fast trains, will be withdrawn, while AC services increase from 145 to 147 with two new additions. Several routes will be extended, including some services now running to Churchgate, and certain AC and fast trains will skip Borivali station. Commuters are advised to check the revised timetable before traveling.
