West Africa creates roadmap for Lassa fever vaccine access

West African nations have launched a roadmap to ensure equitable access to Lassa fever vaccines once developed. The Lassa Fever End-to-End Access Roadmap, developed by WAHO with CEPI support, guides vaccine development to widespread use, addressing a persistent regional health threat. This initiative aims to coordinate efforts for affordable and accessible vaccines, with a Lassa fever vaccine candidate currently in early human trials.
