Wednesday Painters Return to Peillac with Shared Exhibition

The "Exposition Partagée" art exhibition, featuring works by students from the Wednesday Painters workshop of Redon's Atelier d'art, will be held from October 3 to 10, 2026, at the Chapelle de la Congrégation in Peillac, France. A vernissage is scheduled for October 3 at 6 p.m. Around ten students will display their creations with complete freedom of subject and technique, guided by artist Pierre Le Den. The workshop emphasizes interpretation and experimentation over faithful reproduction, with works mostly figurative and often based on models. This is the group's second exhibition in Peillac, following a request from the commune. The exhibition showcases diverse student journeys, including retirees discovering painting and beginners using art for escape. For Le Den, the show is a reward but not an obligation, while for students it offers a chance to share their creative pleasure and strengthen group bonds through a collective project.
