Vox Machina's Final Season Could Set a Fantasy TV Record

Prime Video's animated series The Legend of Vox Machina, based on the Critical Role campaign, is one season away from achieving a perfect critical record, as it holds a 100% critic score across its four seasons. The show's fifth and final season will determine if it maintains this flawless rating. The series, which premiered in 2022, has earned near-universal praise due to its faithful adaptation by the original creators and cast. Its audience score stands at 93%, and the upcoming season will conclude with a showdown against the Whispered One, likely airing in 2028. If successful, the show would surpass Avatar: The Last Airbender's three-season perfect score, marking a rare feat for a five-season fantasy series. The spinoff, The Mighty Nein, also holds a 100% critic score, suggesting the franchise's creative team has maintained consistent quality.
