Voria Labs has developed Lumanoi Interactive Light Sculptures, with a new video detailing their hardware and interactive technology. The sculptures utilize a custom ESP-32-S3-WROOM-2 control board connected to daisy-chained "cell" boards. These cells manage addressable LEDs and feature microcontrollers and photodiodes for interactive capabilities. Interactivity is achieved through ambient light sensors detecting room brightness and shadows, and touch controls offering direct user engagement with the artworks.
