VodafoneThree has launched SuperMobile, an upgraded 5G service with speeds up to four times faster than standard plans, but customers must pay a premium. The service guarantees minimum speeds of 15 megabits per second, a first for the industry, with early contract exit without penalty if unmet. Vodafone customers pay £3 to £12 extra monthly depending on plan, targeting Britain's poor mobile coverage, which ranks last among G7 nations. SuperMobile uses network "slicing" technology for dedicated access in busy areas, while non-paying customers won't be deprioritised.
