Vodafone deactivates old prepaid SIM cards by June 30, 2026

Vodafone is deactivating remaining old prepaid SIM cards by June 30, 2026. Customers must act to keep their numbers. These SIMs are on outdated systems and cannot be migrated. Approximately 3,000 SIMs are affected. Customers have 30 days to switch to a new SIM or port their number. Failure to act will result in permanent loss of the mobile number. Vodafone offers refunds for activation costs and the first month for voice SIMs.
