VisionQuest Actor Confirms Tommy's Bisexuality Remains Central to the Role

Ruaridh Mollica, who plays Tommy Maximoff in Marvel's VisionQuest, addressed the character's bisexuality in a Variety interview, confirming it will not be erased despite Tommy only flirting with a woman in the series. Mollica, who is openly bisexual like his character, praised Marvel for casting a bisexual actor and called it an honor to represent that in the MCU. He said he feels "really seen" by the role. Regarding Tommy's on-screen flirtation with Lisa Molinari, the actor explained that bisexuality is about internal identity and desire, not just who one dates. He hopes his portrayal helps audiences feel represented.
