Virgin Australia introduces new business class menu with seasonal dishes
Virgin Australia is launching a new business class menu on November 20, featuring fresh, seasonal dishes like chicken noodle salad and beef quesadilla. The menu aims for a trendy cafe vibe, with vegetarian options available on every flight. Economy class passengers will also see menu updates, including new items like spinach and ricotta cannelloni and hot Belgian chocolate waffles. Digital receipts for onboard purchases will be introduced for easier transaction tracking. In addition to the menu changes, Virgin Australia is revamping its Velocity Frequent Flyer program, moving to a spend-based system. The airline is also considering changes to its partnerships with Singapore Airlines and Etihad Airways amid potential investment from Qatar Airways.
