Vijay accuses DMK of deceiving Tamil Nadu voters over NEET promises

Actor Vijay has accused the DMK party of deceiving voters in Tamil Nadu after they came to power. He claimed the party made false promises during the 2021 assembly elections, particularly regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Vijay highlighted that DMK officials had assured voters they could eliminate NEET, but later stated only the central government could do so. He expressed that the party's misleading tactics would not work in the future. In response, Transport Minister S S Sivasankar noted that NEET was introduced under the previous AIADMK government. He mentioned that the DMK has been actively demanding the central government abolish NEET, following a tragic incident involving a medical aspirant.
