Vienna choirs announce 2026/27 tours across four continents

The Vienna Boys' Choir and Vienna Girls' Choir presented their 2026/27 season plans on Wednesday evening, announcing performances across four continents, including a USA premiere for the Girls' Choir. The presentation took place at Campus Augarten. The Girls' Choir will embark on its first US concert tour in spring 2027 along the eastern states, and will also perform at Expo 2027 in Belgrade on June 11. The Boys' Choir will tour the US starting October 2026, with additional stops in China, Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Japan, South Korea, and Australia for the first time since 2017. The season also includes a new concert subscription at MuTh, featuring opera performances, a New Year's concert, and a preview of the US program. The Girls' Choir is scheduled to debut solo at the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's concert on January 1, 2027, exactly 50 years after the Boys' Choir's debut.
