volg.mk.ru (Russian) —

The "Victory Train," a mobile interactive exhibition about World War II, arrived at Volgograd-1 station on October 3, offering free visits through October 5 with prior registration. The exhibition features 10 themed cars with over 150 life-size figures and 54 projectors, recreating scenes from the Brest Fortress to the Berlin victory. A 45-minute audio-guided tour follows a female train driver's journey. Since its October 2020 launch, over 1.5 million people have visited across Russia, Abkhazia, and Belarus. The Volgograd stop coincides with early October 1942 battles for Mamayev Kurgan.
